As the feral residues of Varaha
Rack up the ego into Hellish plight
Naraka lets loose the asuric fight
As Bhama battles him with Krishna by her side
The witness plays his part by dropping dead beside
Enraged , she slays Naraka with his dazzling disc
As he playfully smiles with fulfilled delight
The ego now subsumed back into Her womb
His Energy completes the loop of time
Just before the close ,Naraka asks for a boon
For being a part of the Divine tune
Thus granted , arose the festival of lights
To crack open the egoistic iron curtain
With the vivacious visciousnness of a firecracker
So the light may crackle forth through the chink
For tasting the presence of the witness within
