As identity solidifies
Expectations soar
Opening the Pandora’s box
Of a million thought nails
Crucifying one into the net
Of fervent emotion
Which responds to the identity
Of the so-called other
Thus, keeping the wheel of life
Spinning amidst the totem of time

But as the mind observes
It withdraws into that eternal sound
A portkey to the Timeless
Returning with a restfulness
That lies beneath the interminably restless
Thus, liquefying the solidified
By including, expanding, and dissolving
One’s rowdy self with the other
Thereby discovering a new portkey
Of oceanic bliss amidst the wavy restless
