The reactive vengeance of Shakuni
Is far from the loving guile of Krishna
As the former is born from being victim
While the latter is a last resort
To assuage overwhelming insanity
Shakuni’s centre is that of hurt
Being hurt , he seeks to injure
Gaining nothing , losing everything
Krishna’s centre is that of heart
Being love, he dissolves himself
Gaining everything by being no-thing
Can guile be loving, asks the adult ?
Ask the child within; pure and unbridled
Where Deceit becomes play
Mimicking the breathing cosmos
That simply breaks into a dance
Subsuming all the centred Shakunis
Within the non — centred Yogeshwara
